Welcome to the City of the Silent

One of Portland's older cemeteries.  A true gem in Portland.

An open history book to several walks of life, yet more than just a neighborhood.  Learn about East Portland, how it was created and how it became an important part of today's Portland.

Tours are offered on individual basis.  We go the extra mile to meet your schedule.  Call us to let us know when you would like to take your tour.  We also help our customers to find the graves of their loved ones.  Just ask for this when booking your tour. Tours are about a hour in length.  Special tours offered for wheelchairs.  Just ask when booking.  Umbrellas are provided in the event of Portland's "liquid sunshine".

MacLeay Family Crypt

This large ornate crypt catches the eye of most every visitor.  Built by Donald McLeay (namesake of Macleay Park) to honor his beloved wife.  It also served as a mourning chapel as well.  Since closed, it stands as a beautiful centerpiece in the cemetery.
